The Chef - A recent transplant to Milwaukee,
Chef Gregory León was originally born in Oklahoma
but grew up around the kitchen table in Venezuela.
For the past eighteen years he has been cooking his
way up the line in some of the hottest kitchens in
San Francisco, including Hibiscus, Poesia, and Tapeo.
Gregory describes his style of cooking as uncomplicated
but with depth, always seasonal and with a soul. He is
fond of the flavors of Spain, Portugal and The Deep

1) Tortilla de Patatas :
Classic Potato and Onion "Omelette" cooked in Olive oil. Served at room temperature.
2) Croquetas de Jamon y Pollo:
Serrano Ham and Chicken croquettes made from a white sauce base, breaded and fried.
3) Pincho de Puerco Moruno:
Pork Skewers marinated in Garlic, Olive Oil and Ras el Hanout (Moroccan Spice blend).
4) Setas al Ajillo:
Mushrooms stewed in Garlic, Spring Onions and Olive Oil.
Not only is this an educational class on how to prepare international Tapas that will impress your friends, this is a social event where you can relax, enjoy the eats, and meet people interested in good food and share a drink. What a great excuse to get out of the house.
